CAMPOUTS 2022

What’s new

This year we are stepping up the interactive sessions during our annual campouts. At every location we will be hiking a local trail while wearing products sold by our vendors. This will include: Gregory and Osprey packs, Vasque and Oboz footwear and Darn Tough socks.

Everyone must register

For the first time we are requiring advance registration before attending the campouts. The purpose of registration allows us to better plan for meals and how much product we will need to bring for the demos. We are also asking that everyone please make a 5 dollar donation. All donations will support Friends of Joshua Tree and we will be matching ever donation made.

When making your donation, please use SCCAMPOUTS or CAMPOUTS in the Memo / Instructions.

Friends Of Joshua Tree

“Thank You to all of you fellow industry professionals for investing in your expertise as well as prioritizing protection of our wild places and cultural treasures (as well as climbing access) in Joshua Tree National Park. Friends Of Joshua Tree is in the midst of working with the Park Service to create a sustainable Climbing Management Plan for the Park; this will determine how climbing is managed not only in the Park, but nationwide for the next 20 years! Your support means everything right now, so Thanks again. If you want to weigh in and help shape this Plan for the future, please use this Comment Page to let the Park officials know what you want, what you think and how you feel. Thank You again”.

Offsite fun

After the sessions in the morning, we will have the opportunity to get on the trails. Primary activities will include Hiking, Trail Running, Mountain Biking and Climbing.

We will not be providing Mountain Bikes or Climbing equipment so please bring your own if you’d like to participate.

Anyone not interested in heading out is welcome to stay at camp.
